Vave Ultrasound Technology
Your Vave probes uses piezoelectric elements — the same industry gold-standard technology used by high-end, cart-based systems. Piezoelectric elements remain the best technology for deeper scanning, reduced noise, and superior image quality.
A wireless ultrasound system is truly portable! It gives you complete freedom of movement during the procedure and the ability to optimally use the probe in hard-to-reach areas. There are no cords to maneuver around your patient and you can cover the entire probe (and your mobile device separately) to reduce exposure to infectious disease. Plus, no more worrying about having the wrong cord adapter!
Nope! Your Vave probe includes its own ad hoc WiFi network so there is no need for you to connect to an external network for imaging.
Vave is compatible with both iOS and Android mobile devices (you can find the app on both the Google Play and the App Store).
Pre-Purchase Considerations
No way! The use of Vave’s cloud storage is never required. We won’t force you to share your data and you always have the option of turning off cloud storage (although, sharing and collaboration features that rely on cloud storage will not be available).
Your Vave Membership includes a 36-month standard device warranty.
You bet! The Vave Wireless Ultrasound device and app are both completely secure. Our user authentication and passwords follow NIST standards.

Known Issue
- Some Android OS 13 devices (e.g., Pixel 4) can occasionally get into a state which prevents the Vave App from auto-joining the probes Wi-Fi network. When the App detects this state, then it presents a warning to the user. When this happens, manually disconnect from the local WiFI (pull down from the top, select WiFi and select disconnect).
